In honor of the life, work and memory of Mr. Ivey Lee Weatherspoon (November 1, 1946- May 31, 2016). Mr. Ivey Lee Weatherspoon was born into poverty, due to an illness of his father, Mr. Weatherspon had to drop out of school to help support his parents and siblings. Receiving only a ninth-grade education he still achieved his own definition of success through personal sacrifice, family, hardwork. He would encourage others to make a diligent effort to learn in the pursuit of understanding and personal development.
